Hello world!

Hello world is correct!! I can’t believe I’m blogging.  I was inspired by another blogger, mother, Puerto Rican and P&Ger who has been blogging for 4 years, Ivette.

I’ve been keeping a journal for each of my children since before they were born with my thoughts, feelings and general happenings in our lives to give to them when they get married.  When I read Ivette’s blog the idea occurred to me that I could do the same while keeping our friends and family updated at the same time.  I would’ve loved to be able to know what was on my Mom’s mind and heart when I was a toddler or baby, so the blogging idea was born!

I’ve been updating YouTube with videos and sending pictures ad hoc, but I’m excited about the possibility of doing it all in one place!

So…here goes…..My name is Lisa and I am 33 years old.  I was born and raised in Puerto Rico and currently have 3 sisters: Michelle and Nicolle (15 years old) and Ivanna (3 years old).  My Mom is Lysette and my Dad Jorge.  I am maried to Dennis and have 2 boys: Lucas Daniel (2 years) and Alan Cristobal (5 months).

Lucas’s middle name came from Dennis’ father: Danny and Alan’s middle name from my grandfather: Cristobal.  The funny thing is that my grandfather is actually named Christopher Columbus (in Spanish: Cristobal Colon).  Whenever a cop stopped him they always thought that he was trying to be funny when he said his name.

We have two weenie dogs, Tito and Pepper, who have been demoted from children to actual dogs when the kids were born

We love to go to the movies, to watch crappy shoes on TV and to spend time with family and friends.  That’s us in a nutshell.
